We use analytics and advertising cookies, but only if you say yes. If you have not agreed, or you said no, they never load. We do not record ordinary browsing sessions and we do not sell or pass your data to data brokers.
Refusing costs you nothing. Every part of the product works exactly the same either way, and we do not ask again on every page.
We advertise on Facebook, Instagram and Google, and we want to know whether that money is doing anything. We also want to see which pages people actually use. That is what these do, and none of them load unless you accept.

These are the only cookies that need your permission. Everything in the next two sections is required for the site to function and is set either way.

Neither holds an identifier, a session token, an email address, or anything that could be used to recognise you as a specific person. One records that you have signed in before; the other records your answer about advertising cookies.
Some things live in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies. Same idea, different mechanism, so we list them here too.

We also cache some product data locally so pages load faster. That is your own data, held on your own device, and it clears when you clear your browser storage.
Separately from advertising, one more third party runs in your browser: Sentry, an error monitoring tool. It loads whatever you chose above, because it is what tells us the app is broken, so we want to be direct about what it does.
When something breaks, Sentry sends us a report containing the error, a stack trace, the page you were on, your account ID, your IP address, and your browser and operating system.
It also records a session replay when an error occurs: a reconstruction of what was on screen and what you clicked around the moment of the failure, which is what lets us reproduce a bug we cannot otherwise see. Replay recording is triggered by errors only. Normal sessions are not recorded.
It is not analytics. Sentry does not tell us which features are popular, does not build a profile of you, and sends nothing to advertisers. It exists to catch crashes.
Use the buttons near the top of this page to turn advertising cookies on or off at any time. That is the whole preference centre, and it is deliberately not buried.
To remove everything, clear cookies and site data for alsterads.ai in your browser. You will be signed out, the app will forget your theme choice, and we will ask about advertising cookies again on your next visit.
An earlier version of this page promised that if we ever added advertising tools, we would ask before loading them rather than switching them on quietly. That is what happened, and this page and the banner are us keeping it. The same applies to anything we add next.
